Chin Motorsports is a leading provider of track events and high performance driver
education. All of our events are specifically non-competition, and racing is strictly
prohibited. To register to participate, all drivers must have current membership
with Chin Motorsports. Follow the link below to complete the enrollment. The membership
period is 13 months (I.E., join on January 1st, and you will be due for renewal
on January 31st, next year), and is based on your enrollment date, not the calendar
year. The $50 annual dues gives you access to registration for any of our 18 planned
events in the coming season. We will visit 8 different tracks in the eastern USA,
ranging from Watkins Glen in the north, all the way to Homestead/Miami in the south,
as well as Mid-Ohio. Members also get discounts from selected parts/safety equipment
providers. Once you complete the online enrollment, you will receive an email with
membership information and a member password. You may then login and complete registration
for a track event. Fees associated with event registration are track fees, instructor
fee, and co-driver fees, if applicable.
See complete details on fees here.
We welcome ALL enthusiasts; there is no requirement to own a particular marque of
car. Almost any modern street car with OEM equipment can be used. Feel free to browse
our event pictures pages to see a sample of the
kinds of cars that participate. Competition prepared cars are also accepted. We
welcome all drivers 18 and older, with a valid state drivers license. A licensed
driver 16 or 17 years old may participate with a parent's waiver and supervision.
The default classification for all new members is novice. Drivers with existing
track experience are asked to email a summary of track history so that you may be
re-classified, if appropriate. In most cases, we recognize qualifications from well
known car clubs, SCCA, NASA, etc... Please provide references and/or competition
license numbers, if applicable. If you do not inform us of relevant experience,
you will be classified as a novice driver, and will be required to have an instructor
assigned.
The emphasis of our events is to give sports car enthusiasts to opportunity to enjoy
their cars in the safe, controlled environment of a road course track. We do not
promote or endorse any competition or racing at our events. A high standard of courtesy
and safety is in effect, and drivers are expected to conduct themselves with the
outmost caution and care at all times. We limit enrollment and offer more track
time than other similar organizations. This practice promotes greater safety and
satisfaction for drivers. Please complete the online membership enrollment to receive
your member password for registration.
