So my left rear brakes were squealing after swapping them back to street use and after putting up with it for a while I took them apart to see if I could spot anything amiss. Stuck between my rotor and dust shield I found this:



Sure enough its skull was preventing one brake pad from gripping the rotor completely, which surprised me as I would've thought the pressure would've crushed it easily but it's a tough little skull. I have new found respect for the structural integrity of a lizard's skeleton!
