And, we can offer this local insight from Austin resident Jason Wade:
Austin has no shortage of things to do after a fun day on track. Austin has become a Mecca of culinary delight. Everything from incredible food trailers and relaxed bar atmosphere on Rainey Street to some of the most decadent cuisines in restaurants around downtown Austin. Places to note are Moonshine, Sullivan's steak house, Fogo de chao, Home Slice and so many more. South congress ave is definitely worth seeing, lined with great bars, live music and the most unique stores you will ever encounter in Texas. Last but not least the infamous 6th street! Comparable to bourbon street in New Orleans, 6th street is wall to wall bars and clubs open until 2am to send you back to your college years. However, be warned.... Many people who partake in this Austin feature seldom make it to the track on Sunday!
