Here it is! By popular demand, Chin Motorsports will offer an event after dark at Sebring! In conjunction with our existing December date, on Saturday, Dec. 12th, the night session is offered as a separate event from 6pm-8:30, 2.5 hours. Astronomical sunset on this day is 5:33pm.
  • Strict Eligibility criteria: for obvious reasons, only drivers with substantial prior Sebring experience and established solo qualifications may participate. Sorry, novice drivers cannot be accepted for this special event. Accordingly, instructor registration is also not available. Minimum criteria is for a driver to have a minimum of 10 days at Sebring AS A SOLO DRIVER. A driver that has only recently been solo qualified that has fewer than 10 solo days is not eligible.
  • Event Format: Considering the overall high experience level of the drivers in this event, Chin Motorsports will run a pure "All Drivers/Open track" format. 2.5 hours of continuous green flag hot track. Passing rules will be consistent with existing Blue/Red group passing rules: passing permitted anywhere on the lap with an appropriate passing signal. All passing signals will be given using blinker turn signals.
  • Special Tech requirements: It is an obvious necessity that participating cars must have fully functional lights, including turn signals. Race cars without tail lights cannot be used.
  • Track fees: This special event will be priced at $199 per entry.

Yes, routine passenger registration will be available, and experienced solo drivers can take passengers to ride along.

Shall we assume that the normal solo ride-along rules apply?
