Pricing and Fees
- Membership: Like most track time car clubs, Chin Motorsports has an annual
membership, required for all drivers. The membership period is 13 months (I.E.,
join on January 1st, and you will be due for renewal on January 31st, next year),
and is based on your join date, not the calendar year. The $50 annual dues permits
your registration in any of our 20 planned events in the coming season. We will
visit 8 different tracks ranging from Watkins Glen in the north, all the way to
Homestead/Miami in the south, as well as Mid-Ohio. Members also get discounts from
selected parts/safety equipment providers.

- Registration: The registration fee for a track event is in a range from $200-$350
per day, depending on the track, for a solo-qualified driver. We accept a limited
number of cars and drivers for each event, which permits us to offer more track
time with fewer run groups.
- Instruction: An entry level/novice driver is required to have an instructor.
A $75 daily instructor fee is applicable, which provides for an expert in-car instructor
throughout the day. Our veteran instructors offer coaching on advanced driving skills,
track etiquette, and safety. A driver that has already been solo-qualified is exempt
from the instructor requirement. Novice driver registration is limited in each event.
- Car sharing:
- Co-drivers are welcome, sharing a car in the same run group.
- A 2nd driver can be added to any primary registration for an additional $95 daily.
- Like all drivers, a co-driver must have current membership in Chin Motorsports.
- NOTE: 2 drivers sharing a car in 2 different run groups requires 2 primary registrations.
- Additional car: A primary driver may add a second car to the same registration
for $75/ day. This permits the driver to swap cars as desired. (Co-driver not permitted
with 2nd car registration)
- Passengers: Passengers can participate in our events by registering at the
track and purchasing a passenger wristband for $20. Passengers must be at least
18 years old (16 years old with parents present). Passengers are permitted to ride
only with solo-qualified drivers.

Cancellation/refund policy
- If you cancel 30+ days before the event, your track fees will be refunded in full.
- If you cancel 10 to 29 days before the event, a $100 cancellation fee is applicable. The balance of your fees will be refunded.
- If you cancel 9 days or less before the event, or NO-SHOW on the event date, your track fees are forfeited. A refund or credit is not available.
- Credit for future events is not available. Refunds will be made as described above.
NO EXCEPTIONS due to
mechanical failure. Prepare you car carefully.

Billing
- For security reasons, Chin Motorsports does not store credit card numbers in our
database. So, each transaction is new, and requires inputting your CC #. There are
no recurring charges. Credit card processing is secure, using SSL encrypted communications
with a major vendor's payment gateway.
- To help prevent fraud, Chin Motorsports does not allow 3rd party purchases. Please
make sure the billing address of the card holder matches the member address on record
with Chin Motorsports. This means the primary driver registering for an event must
be the credit card holder.
